Updates from Governor Ducey's Office

  • We issued new guidance on our essential services executive order from Friday. More information can be found here: This includes the closure of barbers, cosmetology locations, spas, etc. Read the news release for additional information.

  • Please read our policy primer for small business assistance and share with small businesses who may need assistance.

  • Our Enrichment Centers launched Friday. This will help provide childcare for first responders, healthcare workers and critical government employees.

  • We have had a significant amount of outreach from organizations highlighting their stories of giving and community assistance. We started promoting some of these this morning using #TheArizonaWay on the Governor's twitter. Feel free to join in or go to the Arizona Together website and share a story here.

  • Finally, we just issued an executive order halting evictions for small businesses and nonprofits that are unable to pay rent due to financial hardship. They will be halted until May 31st.
